If you have a relevant post-secondary education and related experience, with 3-5 years of experience in a management role; or a combination of training and experience. Executive Director duties include, but are not limited to:
With the Chair, enables the Board to fulfill its governance function.
Gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organizations philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.
Supports and manages the operations and administration in all aspects of agency operations.
Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.
Leads, coaches and mentors employees to succeed.
Ensures the delivery of appropriate and effective programming and services.
Builds and maintains an effective network of government contacts, understanding operations and protocols.
Develops professional and community relationships in support of agency participants.

We are hiring for a Temp Part Time Program Coodrinator
BRSI is inviting applications for the position of Co-ordinator of Program Services. This is Temporary part-time position working 40 hours in a two week period. This may lead into a full time.
The successful applicant will have:
*considerable knowledge of the principles of learning and behavior;
*knowledge of ethical standards for the application of behavioral programs;
*knowledge of a variety of functional and adaptive behavior and behavioral assessments;
*Knowledge of major trends and concepts with the field of intellectual disabilities;
*Experience and/or formal training in the design, application and supervision of developmental programs;
*Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
*Instructional and supervisory skills and skills in decision making;
*Ability to work independently with individuals and with groups;
*Health Care related experience would be an asset;
*Valid Driver's License;
*CPR & 1st Aide;
*A criminal record check with vulnerable sector is required.
Education:
Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (or other related discipline) with an emphasis in learning and behavioral psychology or an equivalent combination of experience and formal training, including CLD Level II and III

Our Board is a Volunteer governing board who’s focus is on the overall direction, mission and long term goals for our organization. We are responsible for the strategic planning, financial oversight, ED evaluation, fundraising, community engagement, transparency and accountability. We have a supper meeting once a month.
